INTEPLAST has undertaken a project to optimize energy consumption in its industrial process. The project has been financed through the Aid Program for Energy Savings and Efficiency in SMEs and Large Enterprises of the Industrial Sector, managed by the Catalan Institute of Energy (ICAEN) and funded by the National Energy Efficiency Fund. It has also been co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under the Multi-Regional Operational Programme of Spain (POPE) 2014–2020.
The investment amounts to 1.019.967,80 €, the amount of aid granted is 273.503,91 € and it represents annual energy savings of 106,18 tep.
