Inteplast Medical, Inteplast's division specialised in health, has collaborated on the manufacture of a component for the new Bitrack surgical robot from Rob Surgical, which recently carried out its first successful operations atHospital Clínic Barcelona.
The robot consists of a column of four arms that allow control of the surgical instruments with submillimetric precision. It was this part of the robot that Interplast Medical participated in, thanks to its knowledge and experience in high-performance thermoplastic solutions under ISO 13485 on medical devices.
Inteplast Medical té les instal·lacions ubicades a La Vall de Bianya (Girona) dotades d’una sala blanca de 1.500 metres quadrats amb certificacions ISO 7 i ISO 8 i equipada amb tecnologia d’emmotllament i muntatge d’última generació que permet fer peces de 0,1 g a 120 g.
Interplast Medical is member of the business association CataloniaBio & HealthTech and its director, Adriana Carré, is a member of the board.
